Why no updates recently?! I'll tell you why, Evan and I are spending every waking moment of energy building the Pika. We are really down the wire. Actually down to the wiring right now, I'm on hold with the manufacturer to figure out the discrepancy between instructions and the actual trailer. It says to connect the two black wires to the brown wire, but there are no black wires, and there IS a white wire! So confusing.
Right now all we have to do is finish hooking up the wiring for the tail lights, finish painting the pretty things on the outside, cut out and install the inside walls, add sealant to the entrance door, get the camper weighed and registered and we are ready to hit the road! Oh yeah, I also have to get all my stuff from my parent's house that I want to bring with me to Montana, and clean up the mess we made. There is no need to sleep between now and Friday right?
Oh and if I want that shower, or sink, or counter, or cabinets... well that will have to be built while I'm in Montana!
I will have some time next week to retroactively post for this past week. Thanks to everyone who has helped in this project so far! Cross your fingers that everything goes smoothly and that we will be able to get going by Friday!
