Framing the walls

The best way to turn a late night architect to an early morning construction worker is buying him a nice coffee at the coffee shop around the corner.

Evan bought a surprise for the camper, so I got to open a mysterious box that arrived.

What is it? A very light aluminum box?

It's an airline food storage box! Very light, economical usage of space, portable and the perfect size for sitting on.

This seems to be enough space for me, why are we making such a big camper?

Cutting the ribs out of think plywood with a jigsaw.

Evan is drawing up the next weirdly curved rib piece.

Weighing all the pieces. Admittedly we miss some pieces, so it will be interesting to see what our piecemeal total is compared to how much it weighs at the end.

Framing out the bottom.

Evan thinks this is a bow.

The camper has horns!
