Working on the awning, final wall sections, and roof.

Finishing up the frame on the back roof.

The frame of the roof section that hinges up.

"Why don't you just step away from Kristy and that Japanese saw June..."-
Evan

"Uh oh, you weren't supposed to see that Kristy"-Evan

I think this would look good with a flower planter in front of it!

What is Kristy saying?

If I were making and designing the camper myself, there would be a LOT less funky angles! So it would be less pretty, but easier to make!

These angles are from the awning door.

Working late into the night. We don't have as much of the structure as we hoped, but we are doing more of the prep work for the fiberglass than expected at this point.

We need to stop sawing outside at 8pm due to sound ordinances, so our late night work needs to be quite like installing insulation.

Again with the curves...!

Catching up!

As our loyal followers know, it has been a few days since we have updated. Instead of trying to do a post for each day I missed I'm just going to do a one post update. We are definitely feeling the time crunch, about two weeks left! So spending more time on building the camper and less time on the blog seems to make sense.

More Evan at the computer! He builds each little nook and cranny on the computer then we build it in real life! It's a little more colorful on the computer.

Now he is looking up parts to buy.

Wood filler to round out the edges.

I dropped this section of the roof, and the curve broke! We didn't have enough of this kind of plywood to make another curve so I had to patch the breaks with scrap pieces.

We are starting to build the roof!

This is the edge of the awning door, it has a lot of funky angles.

Sometimes we take breaks with June :)

Getting the frame for the awning just right.

Like I said, there are a lot of funny edges!

This is the frame of the roof section that will hinge up on the roof.
