Today was one of those days that we did a lot of work, but it doesn't really look like it.
| Buttercup inspects the project. "I think you really ought to screw these sheets down." |
We realized that we needed to tidy up our work space, last night we did some fancy stepping over things while holding a large section of the flooring that could have ended in some more of those photos on the right side of the screen.
| Evan surveys the mess, and this is after we have done some rearranging and clearing, note the brick columns that will be our tool table later. |
| So much space, but it's not for dancing Evan, it's for putting the camper together! |
| We are trying to keep our meals humble, the more we eat ramen and peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, the more we can spend making the camper fancy! |
| Ok, so we happen to really LIKE ramen and peanut butter sandwiches.... so it's not putting us out too much. |
| Evan spent much of the day drilling holes. |
Evan tried two different methods of countersinking the screws. The right tool makes it look much nicer. He also did an amazing job of drilling the holes to hit the right spot on the frame. I did the much less glamorous jobs of guiding the insulation into the slot while lying under the camper. I got Liquid Nails, or construction glue, in my hair. That whole process turned out to be unnecessary as we were turning that section of the floor over anyway to paint it. Sigh.
| Beautiful. |
| "I think we are done Evan, I can sleep on this!" |
| It may look like I am drawing up plans, but I'm just setting up my "Bullet Journal". I 'm using it to help track the time and amounts of money spent, draw ideas, write shopping lists, and manage the rest of my schedule. |
I'm so curious what this is going to look like. Evan when are you going to show us some concept design drawings?
